While I’m not a real fan of Ms Parton’s music, she seems to be such a beautiful soul and her Imagination Library program seems to reinforce that. Dolly’s amazing program was started in her home town in East Tennessee, where she wanted to ensure each child within the community received the chance to use their most powerful and inspiring tool – their imaginations. The program became so popular that she decided to extend it throughout the United States, then into other countries.

With the help of United Way Australia, the Imagination Library now distributes books to hundreds of Aussie kids.

*Not available in all areas of Australia yet, but I checked their distribution maps and there is quite a good coverage at this time.
